Like its artists, America’s musicians, actors and other celebrities have been getting involved in this campaign to an unprecedented degree.

Hip hop has had a longstanding political strain to begin with, so it should be no surprise that a number of rappers (most notably Will.I.Am) have been front and center.

And Common is no exception.
