I grew up in the Mississippi delta (Cleveland) and came to New Orleans through Faulkner backwards, after having already lived in the city. It works that way sometimes. I perused your other posts and found that Faulkner description. So I hung it onto the mast of da'Ladda...along with your post today (down near the food and music).
