Every Friday, we show off Matador members’ photos.

“A young boy still in his uniform hangs around the tailor shops in Iponri, Lagos after school – observing and learning a new skill. In a city of over 20 million inhabitants, the bustling metropolis of Lagos continues to struggle with infrastructure, corruption and employment issues among a myriad of problems. Many recent college graduates remain unemployed as they battle for limited resources and jobs. As such, learning additional skills and developing one’s multi-dimensionality early on acts as a surefire investment to help locals survive the fiercely competitive city.”

Yes Nigeria is plagued by problems. They had a University strike recently and even when they got to a class and learned a lot of the jobs they trained for simply do not exist. The oil money they generate simply is not going to create business and infrastructure. So yes having an alternative skill is always a great idea. Even in the states most people can change jobs and careers 10 times in thier lifetime. Great article I enjoyed it.

I have been fortunate enough to teach my craft all over the world. I have been to many countries teaching hypnosis and training people how to use it to benefit their lives and upgrade their personal skills and sales skills. It might be time to teach in Nigeria to help some of the people there learn what can be done quickly and easily with hypnosis to overcome obstacles in their lives.
