		<description>What do you mean Ridesharing has been around before the Internet - no no cyber hitching is totally different - completely new paradigm! ;-).      I am only kidding.  Yes you are correct the basic concept is not new however what we are doing at PickupPal is trying to make it more efficient.  We help you find people who are on your way - so let&#039;s say you are going from Toronto to Quebec city - maybe you can give a ride to someone who needs a lift from Kingston to Montreal?  By taking the basic bulletin board concept and do some route matching you can create more opportunities to find someone to ride with.    Nice post and thanks for the mention!
