Norwegian BASE jumper Hans Lange has survived a 180-kilometer-per-hour crash into the side of a mountain – and not only did he survive, but he got it all on video, too.

“When I have recovered I will jump again,” Lange told the AP. “It all comes down to better planning. It’s a fantastic feeling to fly along a mountainside.”

Feeling voyeuristic? Here’s the eerie, jumper’s-eye-view clip of the whole thing:

Who said it was 180km/h? From the look of the video the canopy is out (he looks up and checks it, that's the quick head movement). Freefall speed and speed in wingsuit is high, 200km/h or higher, but being under canopy is a completely different story. Still, I wouldn't want to hit the wall.

Hiya Anonymous, I got the number from the Associated Press story I link to – they attribute it to Lange.
